The terms that apply when you book work with EMC Plumbing Services.
Quotes and estimates
Estimates given before inspection are indicative. A firm price is provided after we have inspected the work, and we will not begin chargeable work until you have approved that price. Where a job uncovers additional work, we stop and re-quote rather than continuing and adding it to the invoice.
Emergency call-outs
You will always be told the call-out charge before we set off.
Workmanship guarantee
Manufacturer warranties on parts and appliances are passed through to you and are subject to those manufacturers’ terms.
Access and preparation
We need safe access to the work area and to your main shut-off. Where access is blocked or unsafe and we cannot proceed, a call-out charge may still apply.
Cancellation
Please give us as much notice as you can.
Liability
We are fully insured. We are responsible for damage caused by our own negligence. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, or for consequential loss arising from a failure we were not engaged to prevent.
